But why Joolspace? Well, we saw how much our customers enjoyed the Community section of our Website - a Forum for exchanging pearl ideas, a Gallery for showing off pearl jewelry, and a Resource Center. And when we began including helpful jewelry-making tips in our regular Pearl Notes Newsletter, the response was enthusiastic. So we decided to get real serious about this information and inspiration service! We get much satisfaction in providing more than just pearls.

We noticed that the Internet has a LOT of resources for beaders and jewelry-makers. But it is scattered everywhere. Someone needed to bring it together in one place. We decided to take the challenge. And that place is ... Joolspace!

And who are "we"? We are a family-oriented company with a rather unique global presence, owned by me (Doug Anderson). My wife Beulah is a Filipina, and together with our two teenagers Bev & Dave, we have lived in Asia for most of the past 17 years. We returned temporarily to Canada in 2002, and while there, we established Integrity Pearls.

We returned to the Philippines in 2005 to develop the pearl business and to be near our sourcing office in China. Then we put together the "Joolspace Team" (Aneros, Andrew, Dave & Rona). A lot of very hard work has gone into the project by these 4 smart people! (See their pictures below.) And we are delighted that now Ellen has joined the team as the overall Joolspace Coordinator.
